lyrics

{David the Elder}
Where am I, How did I get to this…
Place, So strange and colorful I do
Find, I can shape the world within my very own
Mind, oh what is this?

Have I passed into  the lost enteral
Realm? Or have I descended into the depths
Hell? My mind swirls like the pool
The reflection of an old fool.

{The Boy}
Welcome to my journey my friend
The key to one’s life’s bitter end
The door can open with the sound of the bell
Is the path I know all too well.

I can show you the worlds that I create
My mind’s children that I humbly make
Never to be far from my lonely side
Is the love for I longed inside.

{David the Elder}
Little boy, show me your dreams
I need to know how you create these scenes?
What you do, can not be right? You can not-
Play God with the power of the night.

I too can create what you deploy.
It seems nothing can be destroyed.
This doesn’t make any logical sense.
All of concerns are not brought to the tense.

{The Boy}
Welcome to my journey dear friend
Come to the well at the world’s end.
Your own happiness you soon have to tell.
Is the path I know all too well.

I can show you the worlds that I create
All my children have their time and place.
Never to be far from my lonely side
Is the love for I  longed inside.

{David the Elder}
I was lost so long ago, so lonely I do
yearn, for my mother who left my
side, for the day that I died.

OH So lonely, I cried,
OH So lonely, I died.

{The Boy}
But you are now a God!
No worries should have my son!

{David the Elder}
No don’t you see?
We both can never leave?
We need to take creatures we have paired,
Once created, can n ever be destroyed.

{The Boy}
The world is yours to control
Why do you put yourself through this turmoil?

{The Boy}
But, welcome to my journey dear friend
You are invited to help us lend a hand.
For our children, who all adore should tell.
Is the path WE know all to well.

I can show you the worlds that I create
A young boys imagination must never waste.
To create a world of this love and pride.
Is the love for I longed inside.

{David the Elder}
I must leave, I need some time to think, (this)
World may drive my mind to the brink!
I must understand why you act like you do?
To create this world that is holy untrue.

Suggest you stay here my little friend.
N o more conjures until my mind can comprehend.
I will provide a solution in due time,
To escape back home, from this perilous kind.

{The Boy}
Listen carefully to my song dear friend.
The world is my own and will never end.
You will understand in a time and place.
That this land has been my saving grace.

For adventures you may take with you.
To find your own journey that’s up to you.
But my family has kept me alive.
And now I will let go… for what’s….inside…
